I'm in a musical mood, and I don't have much to do today. So, I mandate: skip-in-rain-read-and-play-music day.

One of my Spanish classmates made fun of me today, saying I look like I'm ready to hike in the mountains. I'm okay with that--while everyone else is running around with their non-waterproof jackets, I'm rocking my eyesore of a rain jacket, my Merrell shoes, and my Chrome backpack. Btw, my backpack has been treating me well. Perfect on the shoulders and back, and keeps my stuff secure. Never again will I have to worry about getting my compute wet.

I finally put my family photos on the wall behind my desk, so I have love staring down at me. One step closer to home.
